Why extending your content matters
Maximize reach and visibility
Your sponsored content is already online and generating visibility. By extending it further across your own channels, you can amplify this momentum even more. By integrating the content into your own communications, you reach not only our target audience but also your existing community. This increases the chances that your messages will stick around, and your investment will pay off even more in the long run.
Strengthen credibility and thought leadership
When you distribute the content across your own channels, you're linking the reach of OMR Reviews with your own brand presence. Especially in B2B, this combination is powerful: your target audience doesn't just see external placement - they also see how the topic becomes part of your own communications. This builds trust and positions you as an expert in your industry at the same time - a key lever for long-term customer loyalty and more successful sales conversations.
Boost business impact
Every additional touchpoint with your content can make a real difference, whether through social posts, newsletters, or integration into your onboarding process. This way, you're not just using the content for awareness - you're also leveraging it strategically to qualify leads further or provide customers with valuable knowledge at the right moment. With targeted extension, you turn your sponsored content into a long-term performance driver for your business.

Best practices for successful content promotion
1. Start with a clear plan
Integrate the extension of your sponsored content into your editorial calendar from the start. This ensures you have enough space and resources to distribute it optimally across different channels.
Define your goals and channels along the way. Do you want more reach or to generate leads, or are you looking to position your brand as a thought leader? Your goal determines which channels and formats you prioritize.
Finally, timing needs to be well planned too. You should use different time points (e.g., launch day, one week later, one month later) to distribute the content multiple times without it feeling redundant.
2. Get your team on board
You're probably thrilled about the publication. But does the rest of your team know what it's about? Bring your colleagues on board across teams - explain why the content is important both in terms of content and strategy. Also encourage them to see how valuable the content is in everyday work, such as in sales calls.
If they stand behind the article or whitepaper and are genuinely excited about it, that shows on the outside too. They'll interact more with the content and increase visibility.
3. Adapt the content to the channel
Consider the specifics of each channel and tailor your content accordingly. Generally speaking: tease the content, but don't give everything away.
Also keep different formats in mind like visuals and short-form videos. For example, share infographics on social media, while publishing a longer teaser text with interesting facts on your blog.
4. Measure success and derive learnings
As marketers, we don't need to tell you how important measurability is. So track which channels bring the most traffic, leads, or interactions. Also document your learnings for the next campaign.
